Originally a livery stable, this barn still sits where it was erected over 150 years ago, along an old railroad line from another time. Twenty years ago, Kristen & Leo Isabelle gave the old structure new life as The Barn Pub & Grille. With a recent facelift under its belt, this old barn is now known for it's Colossal Lobster Roll, huge pub menu, and a gluten-free menu that people with a gluten intolerance will rejoice over.
What pub would be complete without some games and some fun? After you grab a drink, shoot some pool or throw some darts in our downstairs game room!
Located off the Water Street Parking Deck, The Barn Pub & Grille is accessible via Water Street, off of Elm Street, in historic Amesbury, Massachusetts. Nestled in the lower mill yard, we are only a few steps away from the Amesbury Riverwalk, which lies along the old Boston & Maine Railroad bed and follows the Pow Wow River along to the Merrimack River. Pop in for a bite to eat, then go explore!
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
